"Time Management For Home-Based Business Owners: How To systematically
Plan Your Daily And Weekly Schedule In ONLY 3-Steps!"
If you still work a 9-5 job where you spend long hours, late nights,
and weekends at the office, but still can't seem to find enough time in the day to devote to making your Online
home-based business profitable, then this maybe one of the most important articles you'll read this
year.
If you are amongst the millions of honest hardworking citizens that
are losing their jobs due to all the corporate downsizing and restructuring, and have been trying to build a
secondary income...
You know that it's extremely challenging both mentally and physically,
especially if you also have a family to take care of.
If you're on the job all day and have to come home and spend time with
your spouse and kids...When do you find time to build a secondary income that most of us so desperately need in
order to survive let alone become successful?
The truth of the matter is you will not...
Unless, however you take the time to plan what you want to accomplish
in your home-based business.
I don't mean to be pessimist, but most of us know that everything that
needs to be built has to go through a process, which means it'll take some time and the sooner you begin, the
faster you'll get there.
You can't say, I'll start it next week, or next month, or whenever,
because you are pushing your completion dates out further and further and we all have only so many
tomorrows.
I'll tell you how to begin building your little home-based empire
strategically in ONLY 3-Steps...
STEP 1: Reconnect With Your “ Business Mission (a.k.a Big Picture Strategy).”
With so many moving parts going on in your life, it's a must that you
review the long term goals you want to achieve for your home-based business, better known as your "Big Picture
Strategy" or what you want it to look like when it's where you want it to be.
The best time to look at your overall business blue print is right
before you plan your weekly schedule, so you'll be able to re-ignite that passion for why you started your path
towards building your Online empire in the first place.
You see, building a successful home-based business is not as easy as
all those Business Opportunities claim...
In the real world it takes time, dedication, patience, focus, and some
money to become successful.
If you don't review or connect with your "Business Mission" at least
once per week, you'll forgot why you started building it in the first place, and may end up quitting right before
the finish line or become side-tracked with some other "Get Rich Quick" system that will detour you off of your
path to chase a "pie-in-the-sky" opportunity.
Connecting with your Business Mission will serve to re-charge your
business building batteries, keep you focused and on track, and restimulate the exact same emotional excitement you
had when you originally created your blueprint.
Please don't underestimate this simple, but yet powerful action step,
otherwise, you'll continue to chase business opportunity after business opportunity, with nothing to show except a
depleted bank account, tension in the household, and etc...
STEP 2: Create Your Weekly Master Task List
After you've reconnected with why you started your home-based Online business (Big Picture Strategy) you
must...
Look at all of your business projects to see what you must accomplish
this week and then create a list.
This list can include general projects, such as, beginning the process
of Incorporating Your Business, backing up your company's data files, and etc...
Your list could also include specific business building tasks that
immediately effect your bottom line, such as, Generating Website Traffic, Networking, Product/Service Creation,
Growth Meetings, and etc...
You may think to yourself that, "Wow that's a lot of
work."
My response is you're right, because I'm not going to sugar-coat it
this is the part that those Get-Rich-Quick schemes leave out of their sales pages.
Now that you've made a list of all the business task you must get
accomplished for the upcoming week.
Let's move on to the last step...
STEP 3: Schedule Your Must Accomplish Task
Now look at each task and assign each a number between 1 to however many total tasks you have listed on the
list.
For example, if backing up your company's data files is the most
important task on your list, then you would assign it a Priority 1.
If beginning the process of Incorporating Your Business is the next
most important task on your list, then you would assign it a Priority 2, and etc...
After you've gone through and assigned every item on your task list a
priority, all you have to do is put them on your calendar and get those business building activities
completed.
If you just follow these simple steps that I've laid out in this short
article, you'll skyrocket your productivity, increase your focus, get yourself several steps closer to your
business goals, and avoid being caught up in the currents of those Get- Rich-Quick
schemes.
This article is only a summary of applying time management to your
home-based business, however it does lay a solid foundation on what you should be doing every week to grow and
become successful.
If you don't apply time management to your home-based business to
prepare for your financial future, what will you do?
I've painstakingly created a 7-Day eCourse that walks you
through the exact steps you need to take on creating your own home-based business strategy, because if you don't
start here, you'll continue chasing time wasting and bank account draining business opportunity
scams...
